Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship
You can receive a scholarship of up to $40,000 (up to $10,000/year) towards an undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science and an offer to complete a summer internship at Amazon!

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Be a high school senior in the U.S. who is currently enrolled in or who has completed a high school or college dual degree
    course where computer science, engineering, or robotics is the subject. Students who have not taken this course can opt-in to take an assessment offered by Amazon.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US. Example: Employment Authorization Document holder, Permanent Resident, or US Citizen.
  • Must demonstrate financial need.
  • Be planning to attain a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, mechanical
    engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or other computer science related field of study from an accredited 4-year college or from a 2-year college with the intent to transfer to a 4-year college.
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).

GE-Reagan Scholarship
This opportunity welcomes high school seniors across the country who embody the values of leadership, perseverance, integrity, and citizenship to apply. As a recipient, they could secure a $10,000 renewable scholarship, accumulating up to a total of $40,000!

Eligibility:
  • Demonstrate the attributes of leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship within their communities, schools, and workplaces
  • Display strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent)
  • Be citizens of the United States of America
  • Be current high school seniors attending high school within the
    United States, (including any U.S. territories or commonwealths), and
    graduating in winter 2023 or spring 2024.
  • Plan to enroll in a full‑time undergraduate course of study at an
    accredited four‑year college or university in the United States for the
    entire 2024-2025 academic school year

Okanogan County Bar Association Scholarship
The Okanogan County Bar Association is pleased to invite High School Seniors to apply for their $1,200 scholarship to be used at a community or 4-year college. Students do not need to plan to go into the legal field, but will need to be able to explain how their intended career could impact the legal field. For example, students planning to go into the medical field could talk about HIPPA, or if a student is going into Real Estate, they could talk about Real Estate Law.

McDonald's HACER National Scholarship
The McDonald's HACER® National Scholarship Program offers scholarships for up to 30 outstanding Hispanic students from all over the country, and continues to provide educational opportunities to help narrow the gap that exists for Hispanic college-bound students, further reinforcing McDonald’s long-standing commitment to feeding and fostering the diverse communities it serves.

There are three tiers of funds, aimed to help recipients finance their college tuition. Tier 1 recipients are awarded up to $100,000. Tier 2 recipients receive $20,000 or $10,000 and Tier 3 recipients receive $5,000. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievement, community involvement, personal statement and financial need.

Eligibility:
  • You’re a high school senior
  • Must be a legal U.S. Resident, U.S. Citizen or a DREAMER/DACA recipient
  • You’re under 21 years old
  • You carry a minimum 2.8 GPA
  • You’re eligible to attend a two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school with a full-time course of study
  • You’ll disclose other scholarship programs that you’ve applied for
  • You’ll enroll and attend an accredited institution in the academic year after your selection (verification needed, as scholarship funds are paid directly to the schools)
  • You have at least one parent of Hispanic/Latino heritage
No essay is needed. The only other requirements are these documents:
  • Transcript
  • Personal statement
  • Letter of recommendation to be submitted online
  • List of community service projects
  • FAFSA report and/or 1040s
The scholarship recipients are selected based on:
  • Academic achievement
  • Financial need
  • Community involvement
  • Personal statement
  • Personal qualities and strengths as portrayed in a personal interview, either in-person or by phone
Winners are selected by June. (Check for emails by April to find out if you are a semi-finalist.)

Farm Kids for College Scholarship
High school seniors planning to earn an agricultural degree from an accredited college or university are eligible, and must submit materials by February 20, 2024.

Scholarship Basics:
1. The competition is open to high school seniors who plan to pursue agriculture-related degrees.
2. Students must purse degrees from accredited colleges or universities.
3. National Farmers announces three national scholarship winners in the Spring of each year.
4. Three winners will receive $2,500, $1,500, or $1,000 scholarship toward their freshman year in college.
5. This is a non-renewable, freshman scholarship.
6. Applicants write 2 brief essays, submit 2 letters of reference, official transcripts, GPA and ACT or SAT scores.

First Steps and Top Tips:
1. Download the Farm Kids for College Scholarship Application Pack (attached below).
2. Read and review the packet thoroughly
3. Your application will receive better consideration of it is typed and neat.
4. When you have completed all the steps in the multi-page packet, send it to the Scholarship Coordinator for Washington State (information below) by February 20, 2024 (postmarked by date).
5. If you encounter any problems with the fillable PDF, please feel free to submit all the same information, in the same order, with clear sections, on separate pages. Please be sure that your name is on every separate page.

Washington Apple Education Foundation Universal Scholarship
Current high school seniors and college students raised in families with direct ties to Washington’s tree fruit industry are eligible to apply. The Washington tree fruit industry includes apple, cherry, or pear orchards, warehouses, and affiliated businesses. Additionally, students with a desire to pursue a degree to work for Washington’s tree fruit industry after graduation may also qualify. If the applicant does not have existing ties to the tree fruit industry, the applicant must want to pursue a degree and career aligned with work in the tree fruit industry to qualify. Individual scholarships may have more specific qualifications. Please see the Award Descriptions below for more information.

This scholarship application is for consideration for funding for the 2024-25 school year. This one application applies to many scholarships as you will see in the Scholarship Descriptions below. Awards can be used at community colleges and universities to pursue an undergraduate degree. Students meeting the Universal Application criteria are invited to use this application link to apply.

Washington Apple Education Foundation Vocational Scholarship
Student must be a Washington state high school senior or current college student. Student does not have to have preexisting ties to the tree fruit industry but their path of study should align with potential work in the tree fruit industry. Vocational programs include refrigeration, electrical, IT, computer applications, HVAC, machine technology, and others. A full list of eligible programs can be found on the application. Individual scholarships may have more specific qualifications. Please see the Award Descriptions below for more
information.

This scholarship application is for consideration for funding for the 2024-25 school year. This is one application for many scholarships as you will see in the Award Descriptions below. Student must be pursuing a vocational degree or certificate at an accredited trade, technical, or community college. Children of Warriors National Presidents' Scholarship
It is important to acknowledge the sacrifices of our service members who preserve our freedom, but that is not enough. The sacrifices of the children of those who served should also be honored. Providing funds to assist these children so they can pursue higher education is a concrete way of showing how much we, as a nation, care.
The American Legion Auxiliary sponsors the Children of Warriors National Presidents'
Scholarship to support the children of our warriors. These scholarships
are awarded to 15 students annually who excel in academics and volunteer
in their communities.

Scholarship Rules:
1. Candidates for this award shall be direct descendants of veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces during eligibility dates
for membership in The American Legion: April 6, 1917, to November 11, 1918; and any time after December 7, 1941. Membership in The American Legion is not required for this scholarship.
2. Applicants must be in their senior year of high school.
3. This is a scholarship to attend an accredited institution of higher education.Applicants must complete 50 hours of volunteer service within the community during their high school years. Hours must be verified in writing by the recipient organization(s). Completed applications are due March 1, 2024 by 8:59 PM Pacific Time. 
4. Judging, at all levels, shall be on the following basis:
  • 30% - Character/Leadership
  • 30% - Essay/Application
  • 40% - Academic Achievement

Ewing C. Kelly Scholarship
The Kelly Foundation of Washington is offering $2,500 awards for its scholarship program, the Ewing C.Kelly Scholarship. This award is named in honor of Ewing C. Kelly, a longtime radio and television broadcaster.

The Ewing C. Kelly Scholarship is designed to reward students who demonstrate good citizenship while striving to attain their academic goals. Applicants will be judged on their academic merit, extra-curricular achievements--both scholastically and in their community--and financial need.

Washington State School Retirees' Association (WSSRA) Scholarships
The Washington State School Retirees' Association (WSSRA) invites senior students who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher to apply for the below scholarships. These awards are given to students who plan a career in the field of education.

Eight $3,000 WSSR – Foundation Scholarships, eight $2,000 WSSR –
Foundation Scholarships, and sixteen Robert J. Handy Scholarships ($900
per year redeemable for four years) will be awarded to students
whose degree would be in one of these areas: teacher, counselor, speech
therapist, occupational therapist, social worker, or psychologist.

In addition, two Gene Forrester Memorial Scholarships will be awarded to
students who will major in Agricultural Education at Washington State
University.

Application Deadline: March 1, 2024
Applicants will be notified by May 17, 2024, if they have been chosen.

Federal Employee Education & Assistance (FEEA) Scholarship
Children, step-children, and legal dependents of full- or part-time permanent federal civilian or postal workers employed with the federal government for more than three years are eligible to apply. This is a $1,000 to $5,000 Scholarship.

Students must have a 3.0 GPA to apply.
Application Deadline: March 14, 2024 by 12:00 PM.

Horatio Alger Scholarships
As one of the nation's largest need-based college scholarship programs in the country, the Horatio Alger Scholarship Programs specifically assist high school students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives. While many programs are directed primarily to recognizing academic achievement or leadership potential, the Horatio Alger Association seeks students who have exhibited determination, integrity, and perseverance in overcoming adversity, as well as have critical financial need.

Horatio Alger Association administers over 70 scholarship programs, offering opportunities for students in various stages of their academic careers to achieve their educational goals and realize their potential.

This is a 2-Part Application!

The first part of the application is to collect your profile information. You will need to press submit at the end of this section to be directed to the second part that contains application questions.

 Requirements:
  To be eligible to apply for any of the Horatio Alger Undergraduate Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be enrolled full time as a high school student in the United States;
    be progressing normally toward graduation with plans to enter a college
    in the United States no later than the fall following graduation
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor's
    degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the
    United States (students may start their studies at a two-year
    institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)
  • Demonstrate critical financial need ($65,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)
  • Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
  • Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
  • Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and
  • Be a United States citizen
